German luxury carmaker Volkswagen is all set to roll out its new version Passat in India this April.The new -generation Passat will encompass the new Volkswagen family look with added features of newly designed headlamps and grille.The exterior has also been revamped with cosmetic makeover. The new features include safety and comfort enhancements like Automatic Distance Control (ACD) system.
Volkswagen Passat 2011 will sport a 2.0-litre diesel engine of 140 bhp, a six-speed DSG transmission.The disel version is likely to give a good competition to the new launches like Maruti Kizashi.
The existing Volkswagen Passat model features a 1.8L, 1798cc TSI petrol engine and is available at Rs 19,20,777.The new variant of Passat 2011 is expected to be priced between Rs 20 to 25 lakh.
