Indian Commerce and Industry Minister, Anand Sharma, has told that the foreign trade policy, which will be setting the norms for the next 5 years for the foreign trade, will be announced on August 27.
"We will soon be coming out with our foreign trade policy for the next five years and have had discussions with all the stakeholders," Sharma said. He was addressing national workshop on 'Achieving Exponential Growth in Agro Exports'.
"We will see if we will get any more inputs in the next 48 hours because the policy will be announced Aug 27," he said.
According to him, the new policy will be providing more support for the industries and export.
