The King of Pop’s was given final goodbye by all his fans and family members. His body was carried in a golden casket by his brothers to the Staples Center where Jackson had rehearsed for the last time for his London Concert.
The ceremony was attended by thousands of fans and celebrities. The ceremony began with Smokey Johnson reading out the condolence messages from Nelson Mandela and Diana Ross, friend and mentor of the late singer. Singer Trey Lorenz and Mariah Carey sang the song I'll Be There' from Jackson’s first album “The Jackson 5” after Pastor Lucious W. Smith’s gave the invocation.
Queen Latifah’s paid her tribute saying "He was the biggest star.thank you”. This was followed by Lionel Richie singing 'Jesus is Love' for MJ.The other stars who were there for paying their final tribute to Jackson included Magic Johnson,Kobe Bryant,Rev Al Shrapton,Martin Luther King III and Jesse Jackson.

The family held a private ceremony at the Los Angeles Cemetery before bringing Jackson’s body to the memorial. The ceremony was also attended by his very close friends. Michael Jackson’s is said to have left behind him assets worth UDS 500 million which will go to his three children, mother, charities and a trust.
