It seems this year is a year of heartbreaks and breakups in Hollywood. This year number of celebrity couples like Cheryl-Ashley Cole, Kate Winslet-Sam Mendes and Sandra Bullock- Jesse James has separated. And now it’s Mel Gibson who has joined the league.
Actor Mel Gibson has ended his one year relationship with Russian singer Oksana Grigorieva. The couple has five month old daughter.
According to Hollywood insiders, Mel Gibson is staying at his family compound in Malibu and Grigorieva at a home in Sherman Oaks, a suburb of Los Angeles.
It is reported that the couple wanted to concentrate in their respective careers therefore decided to split. But, Mel Gibson and his ex-flame have agreed to remain close to raise their child, Lucia.
The source quoted, "They just drifted apart. They’re both working hard on their careers and trying to raise a sweet baby together. They're still friends and they'll both raise Lucia together.”
Currently, both the stars are busy with their latest projects. Mel Gibson is filming his latest film How I Spent My Summer Vacation in Mexico and his girlfriend has been to her native Russia to sing in a charity concert next week to raise money for children with cancer.
