Drew Barrymore Says Never Pretend On First Date Drew Barrymore |
Actress Drew Barrymore has insisted that one should not pretend to impress a guy on the first date. The actress insisted that she always want her man to accept her the way she is.
Drew Barrymore quoted, "On the first date, don't not be yourself. Don't sell them what you're not really about - it's exhausting. I'm never not myself. This is who I am. What you see is what you get. I learnt that lesson when I was 13 - my entire life was out there and I didn't have a choice. I thought, let me just ride with this wave.”
The star also added that she is not bothered about getting older.
The actress said, "It's the best time of my life - it's not traumatic at all. I don't think I've ever been happier. It's like the older I get, the better I get. Gravity and wrinkles are fine with me. They're a small price to pay for the new wisdom inside my head and my heart."
"If my breasts fall down to the floor and everything starts to sag and becomes hideous and gross, I won't worry. I'll just stop appearing in front of the camera. That's fine with me because I love producing and directing," she added.
