McLaren will bring a new high- performance sports car called MP4-12C for the Paris Auto Show in October.
Neubauer Group, the owner of McLaren, will present the highly finished model to a wider audience in France.
Frank Stephenson, McLaren Design Director, is expected to unveil the car on the occasion. The group has already announced new retailers for the Middle East, Europe and North America markets.
McLaren started the development of its 12C models in 2007 and since now, more than 40 prototype vehicles have been built by the company.
The latest 12C model is codenamed Validation Prototype (VP). It was just showcased in Arizona a few days before. It has also completed testing on high speed circuits and high altitudes.
A company statement said, “The combination of extreme ambient temperatures in a high altitude environment is perfect for testing components including the 12C’s bespoke heating, ventilation and air conditioning system, which has performed exceptionally well in Arizona. Amassing mileage in these conditions is invaluable in proving the 12C’s new engine, which was equally impressive throughout significant changes in the test environment.”
