Fiat Linea T-Jet To Be Launched In October  Fiat Linea T-Jet |
Fiat is planning to launch Linea T-Jet car in October. Though, the model was to be launched in August, it was postponed due to some reasons.
“The T-Jet will be launched in the middle of October and is expected to come in phased manner,” said a Fiat spokesperson. However, he refused to elaborate the details.
This is the latest from Fiat India after the launch of the 90hp Punto, which brought fame for the company. The Grande Punto has prompted the company to go for the Linea T-Jet.
The Linea T-Jet will have a 1.4 L T-Jet engine that is designed to offer peak power of 110 bhp at 5000 rpm and maximum torque of 200 Nm at 2500 rpm. This is also India’s first car with a turbo-charged version of the 1.4-litre petrol motor. The car can accelerate up to100km per hour in just about 9.2 seconds. The car can show a striking top speed of around 200 kmph.
Apart from that, the fuel economy is also better than the previous models. The gear box is made like slush box to conserve fuel. The steering wheel alignment also looks perfect to give a joy ride. Anti-lock braking system and Fire Protection System are some of the advanced features in the Linea T-Jet.
So, the car enthusiasts hope to test the new ruler of the road soon.
