Mallika is all set to appear with 'Avatar' star, Laz Alonso. Currently she is determined to make herself as a noted international figure in Doug McHenry's ‘Love Barack,’ and most importantly she will be starring with none other than Hollywood’s super hero Laz Alonso of ‘Avatar. ‘

 

First time ever Mallika will play a political figure as Obama's devoted coordinator named as ‘Aretha Gupta’, who is the central character of the film. An overwhelmed and extremely thrilled Mallika stated,  "Laz Alonso is a talented and exciting actor. I'm very lucky to be working with him.”

 

The story reflects about 2008 US election, where Democrat Mallika falls for her Republican counterpart Alonso, an African-American working for the local McCain office.

 

The movie's script is written by Gary Goldstein and photography is directed by Francis Kenny. There are noted hollywood personalities like Ruby Dee, Gerry Bednob and Loretta Devine who will be starring innthe few of the leading role in the film.

 

Eventually her patience paid her handsomely, who had waited for two years to bag this prestigious role and to enter in the Hollywood circle. This new Hollywood assignment will soon start to take off, and the latest news is that Mallika has moved her base from Bollywood to Hollywood already in Los Angeles.

 

Mallika seems to be sailing in a sweeter and smoother sail after initial turbulence in the film industry.
