World's First Full HD 3D LCD Panel Rolled Out  LG Full HD 3D LCD Panel |
It is hinted that the world’s first commercial 3D LCD panel supporting a full HD resolution will be released soon. It is an attempt from the electronics major LG to gain market access in the LCD panel segment.
Earlier, Nvidia had released their 3DVision glasses with a resolution of 1680x1050. But, LG has offered the resolution solution with its latest 3D LCD panels. The new LCD panel is similar to the one in Samsung 2233RZ. In the LG LCD panels, the refresh rate is as high as 120Hz due to the use of shutter glasses.
The 3D LCD panels are expected to hit the markets in early quarter of 2010. The game lovers can use a HD5870 graphics card for better result on their 3D monitors.
However, the details are still to come. Then only, we can assume the true impact of the latest LCD panels on the customers.
