LG has announced two entry-level smartphones, the Optimus One and Optimus Chic.
According to company, these two models will both run on the latest Android OS v2.2 Froyo, whereas the existing Optimus Q and Z will be released with Froyo upgrades in the coming days.
Apart from that, LG is also planning to release 10 more handsets under its Optimus Android series by the end of this year.
As per the company announcement, both the models would be touchscreen sets with candybar designs and run on Android v2.2 Froyo. Most probably, these two LG phones will carry Wi-Fi connectivity and some other basic features.
Meanwhile, LG has also announced the development of some Windows Phone 7 devices that will be released sometime this year.
However, the company has not mentioned anything about the upgrades for the Optimus series phones.
