LG has launched two new mid-range touchscreen handsets, the Cookie Fresh GS290 and Cookie Plus GS500v in India. The models include many contemporary features to attract the young customers.   

 

The GS290 sports a 3-inch LCD touchscreen and comes with features like a 2MP camera, one touch social networking, a built in Oxford dictionary, 3.5mm jack and video editing. An A Class UI powers the set. It also has 28MB of internal memory and is extendable up to 16GB using microSD cards.      

 

The LG Cookie Fresh GS290 is priced at Rs. 6,199.  

The other set called the LG Cookie Plus GS500v boasts of 3-inch LCD touchscreen display and associates many features like a 3MP camera, One touch social networking, editable Screen shot, MMS and a 3 Way User Interface.

 

The other features of the GS500V include 3G support and Facebook Auto update facility. The phone has 30MB of internal memory that is expandable up to 8GB using microSD cards.  

The LG Cookie Plus GS500v will be available for Rs. 7,999.
