Leonardo Di Caprio is set to team up with his dad George to make a movie based on the assassination of former US president John F Kennedy. To mark the 50th death anniversary of Kennedy, the movie will be released in 2013.
The father-son duo is planning to turn book ‘Legacy of Secrecy: The Long Shadow of the JFK Assassination’ into silver screen adaptation, source informed.
John F. Kennedy, the thirty-fifth President of the United States, was killed on November 22, 1963, in Dallas, Texas. Kennedy was shot while riding with his wife Jacqueline in a Presidential motorcade.
According to media reports, in the movie Caprio will portray the role of Jack Van Laningham, a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) informant, who befriended Mafia boss Carlos Marcello to find out his involvement in Kennedy’s 1963 murder.
