Mahesh Bhupathi confirmed about his engagement with beauty queen Lara Dutta in Twitter. His Twitter post said, “So Lara and me got engaged in NY last week”.

 

This is the first time that the couple declared about their tie-up officially. They have been in New York since last month because of the Davis cup and US Open and also Lara reportedly had a photo shoot there for some magazine.

 

Lara was previously going around with actor Dino Morea. However, it is said that she dumped him for Bhupathi. Even Bhupathi had a divorce with his wife Shwetha Jaishankar. Though the couple denied rumours that they were living together, however they were seen together at many award functions. But, an official confirmation was all that was required and now that both have accepted it officially, another celebrity marriage is on its way!
