King Khan Wanted In Film Industry’s Producers Association Shah Rukh Khan |
The Film Industry’s Producers Association of India wants Shah Rukh Khan to be a part of their core committee member association. They have considered him for the esteemed post and in sometime, decision would be made.
The topic of choosing King Khan will be discussed in the next Annual General Meeting (AGM), when all the producers meet on a yearly basis.
Producers have planned to suggest Shah Rukh’s name and if the decision is unanimous, then he would be chosen as a core committee member. The existing members believe that King Khan has been in the industry for the past couple of months and his experience can be very well used in decision making.
Senior vice-president Mukesh Bhatt of the committee states further, “Shah Rukh Khan's name being considered to hold a key post in the association is a welcome news. He should come on board since he is an actor-producer and I feel that his services would be of great help to our association."
Even the name of the arch-rival actor Aamir Khan was considered for the same, but he backed out because he was dragged to Court by the Competition Commission on charges of forming a cartel during the filmmakers and multiplex owners' strike.
