Kim Kardashian Inspired By Princess ‘Jasmine’ Of ‘Alladin’ Kim Kardashian |
Socialite Kim Kardashian is like any another girl who looks up to princesses and always wants to look beautiful like them. Kim recently revealed that fictional Disney cartoon character Princess Jasmine is her idol.
The beauty who has been immortalised as a waxwork at New York's Madame Tussauds waxwork museum said that she believes that Princess ‘Jasmine’ of ‘Alladin’ looks like her.
"It's good for women to have a role model. I remember 'Aladdin' came out when I was young - I was obsessed with Princess Jasmine as I looked just like her. And I admired Sophia Loren and looked to her body shape," she said.
"So if I can help anyone feel more comfortable in their skin, I'm all for it. I say, 'Be proud of who you are. Be proud to have boobs. Love your butt. Be proud to be a curvy woman because curves are sexy!" she added.
But, Kardashian admitted that she was teased by girls at her school for her figure.
"I was 11 when I started developing boobs and a butt, and it made me feel uncomfortable. The girls at school made fun of me, and when I looked at magazines, everyone was so skinny and that wasn't me."
"Luckily, in my family, curvy was normal. What got me through was being close to my mom. She talked to me and my sisters and told us to be proud of who we are. She gave us confidence."
