Actress Julia Roberts has been tapped to be the ambassador for the cosmetic firm Lancôme.
"By her remarkable personality and career, Julia Roberts is an emblematic woman of her time. Her exceptional talent, her radiance and her strong commitments, perfectly echo Lancôme’s values" quoted Youcef Nabi, president of Lancôme International.
Julia now joins Kate Winslet , Arlenis Sosa and Anne Hathaway among others.
Lancôme declined to give further details on the relationship between Roberts and the brand at this time.
The Lancôme contract is the latest project in her busy year which also includes two new movies “Eat , Pray, Love “ and “Valentine’s Day”.
It’s not new for a Hollywood actress to enter the cosmetic and beauty realm. Demi Moore was offered a similar deal with Lancôme sister brand Helena Rubinstein as a face of its fragrance.
The Oscar-winning actress is fan of the product long before the contract was announced.
