Janet Jackson steps forward to look after Michael Jackson kids Janet Jackson |
Pop legend Michael Jackson's sister Janet has now decided to raise her big brother's children.
"Janet has completely bonded with those children in the last few weeks. She has been their rock. It's clear to everyone that they are looking to her for comfort and guidance," mirror.co.uk quoted a source as saying.
In his will, 50-year-old Jackson said he wanted his mother, 79-year-old Katherine, to bring up the children. But it is feared she is now to old to cope with three energetic youngsters.
Janet is said to have volunteered after telling other family members: "I'll raise them if this is what they want."
Janet has been married and divorced twice but has no children of her own. Janet is reported to have recently split from long-time boyfriend Jermaine Dupri, 36.
A court case about the custody of the children is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles Monday.
Debbie Rowe, the biological mother of the two older children Prince and Paris, is expected to attend the hearing.
