Janet Jackson still struggles with intense periods of mourning following the death of her beloved brother Michael - because she keeps expecting the King of Pop to call her.
The Nasty singer was devastated when her famous sibling passed away in June (09), only appearing in public to support her niece and nephews at Jackson's memorial and perform a tribute medley at the MTV Music Video Awards in September (09).
Jackson is learning to live with her grief eight months on - but admits she still expects to hear her brother's voice on the end of the telephone.
She tells Wonderland magazine, "It gets sad sometimes because - I don’t know - you think your phone is going to ring and you hear that voice calling your name. But, yeah, life does go on and everybody grieves differently.
"And every day is different. Some days it’s much easier than others."
