James Cameron’s ‘Avatar’ Clinches Two Oscars James Cameron |
In the most awaited event of the world, Academy Award Function 2010, where James Cameron’s flick ‘Avatar’ acclaimed two prestigious Oscar awards in best art direction and best cinematography categories.
In James Cameron’s flick ‘Avatar’, Rick Carter, Robert Stromberg and Kim Sinclair bagged Oscar award for the Best Art Direction , while Mauro Fiore won for 'Best Cinematography' category at the 82nd Academy Awards.
Unbelievably, their strong competitor ‘The Hurt Locker’ won three prestigious Oscar awards for Best Sound Mixing, Best Editing and Best Original Screenplay.
Well much expectation was hooked upon ‘Avatar’ when their competitor ‘The Hurt Locker’ got entangled with strong criticism for negative remarks in the e-mail of its co-producer and invalid reports upon military background that much stirred the US defense who reported it to be unsubstantial story which is not relevant to the real facts.
Even though ‘The Hurt Locker’s chance seemed bleak in this year’s Oscar due to its controversial issues but finally they stood out remarkably well from their competitor ‘Avatar’ by clinching numerous trophies in their stride.
Moreover it seems Cameron is quite happy as he has no qualm about his ex-wife film's win.
