James Cameron proves himself a better human being by giving way to his strong competitor to win the Best Director spot. Proud maker of the mega-movie of the era ‘Avatar’ feels the director and ex-wife Bigelow deserves to win the Oscar for best director category.

 

Cameron is full of praise for his deserving ex-wife Bigelow for her Iraq-set war movie ‘The Hurt Locker’. Cameron who shared two years marital affair with Bigelow, stated in her favor, "It'd be really cool to lose to her. So far she hasn't had the accolades she deserves."

 

Currently, the ‘Avatar’-maker holds other four fierce contenders of Hollywood apart from Bigelow.

 

He knows what she wants and stated, “I know the one she wants - though not as 'woman director'. She wants to be simply Best Director. And I hope she gets it. She's ready to be anointed."

 

Moreover, apart from his recognition his ex-wife’s work got noticed by BAFTA which had awarded her with the Best Director award for ‘The Hurt Locker.’

 It is really a big sign shown by Cameron to let go off the most coveted trophy.
