Imran Khan Was On Director's Mind While Writing ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ Imran Khan |
Punit Malhotra, the debut director of the flick ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ said that he wrote the script keeping Imran Khan in his mind.
Punit said, "When I was writing the film, I had written Jay's character with Imran in my mind. I knew that he would be best for the role and no one else; so there was no confusion about it. When I saw him acting in the film, I realised I was right, because he is simply outstanding in the film."
Punit, the 28-year-old director had previously assisted Karan Johar in Kal Ho Naa Ho, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Karan Johar produced ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ which is supposed to hit the theatres on July 2. The movie is about Jay (Imran Khan) and Simran(Sonam Kapoor) who are both of opposite nature.
Punit said, “Sonam and Imran have been paired together for the first time; so it is a very fresh pair. Sonam was Manish’s (Manish Malhotra) suggestion and she looks very good with Imran."
