‘IHLS’ surprises Imran Imran Khan |
The first three days collections of ‘IHLS’ approximates to Rs 21.5 crore within India. Its grand opening has surprised the lead actor Imran Khan. He says that he didn’t expect such a blast.
Imran is rejoicing over the fact that he is able to create a success statement at the Box Office. He is now four movies old, in which ‘Luck’ and ‘Kidnap’ didn’t really do well. But, the good news for him is that his ‘IHLS’ got even a bigger opening than his last hit ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’.
He adds, “I feel honestly very surprised with the numbers. I had told (director) Punit Malhotra that it's a very good film and I was quite confident with the way it was promoted, but I didn't expect such an opening.”
Since the last two big budget movies, ‘Kites’ and ‘Raavan’ went flop, so Imran feels that they had perfect timing for the movie launch.
He adds, “I think everything went in our favor. There are the things you can't plan for and everything happened by good fortune."
His next take is ‘Break Ke Baad’, in which he stars opposite to Deepika Padukone. The movie is a light romantic story and a new age film.
