Himesh’s ‘Kajraare’ Is First Hindi Film Shot In Petra Himesh Reshammiya |
Composer-singer-actor Himesh Reshammiya’s latest venture ‘Kajraare’ is the first Hindi film to be shot in Petra, the eighth wonder of the world.
The movie has been produced by Bhushan Kumar and Kishan Kumar while the direction took place under the skilled supervision of Pooja Bhatt.
The romantic flick has a soulful and melodious music ,boasts a proud Himesh. He says, “There’s a lot of Sufism in the songs but blended beautifully with contemporary music.”
Himesh is also much excited about the exotic and unexposed locations they have used in the movie. The actor said that the unreachable sites which the director had chosen was a mammoth task. Speaking about the music, the actor said, “However, the setting and the story of the film was so inspiring that I really wanted to come up with path-breaking melodies. Kajraare has been a very satisfying experience for me, not only as a music composer but also as an actor. I am sure the film will find its place in the hearts of the audience.”
A Mahesh Bhatt script the film stars Mona Laizza opposite Himesh, along with Amrita Singh, Natasha Sinha, Gaurav Chanana, Javed Sheikh, Gulshan Grover and Adnan Shah. Kajraare’ is expected to hit the theatres in February .
