‘Golmaal 3’ did a magic job and it is even more hilarious than the previous two parts, ‘Golmaal’ and ‘Golmaal Returns’. The part three is the best selling franchise till now, its magic has worked even overseas.

 

Trade Analyst Amod Mehra says, “Golmaal was a hit, Golmaal Returns was a bigger hit and Golmaal 3 is the biggest hit in the trilogy.

 

The figures would have been even higher had Ashtavinayak (the producers) not pre-sold the satellite rights for around Rs 8 crore. It would have fetched them double that today.”

 

Talking about the profits reaped by the movie, another trade analyst says, “Golmaal 3 raked in Rs 13 crore on Saturday and another Rs 11 crore on Sunday that added to Friday’s Rs 8 crore plus, which totals at a fantastic Rs 33 crore for the first weekend.”

 

The movie is doing excellent at the overseas box office and the star studded film ‘Action Replayy’ has been over shone somewhere.
