Gemma Arterton famously known as former Bond Girl who starred in ‘Quantum of Solace’ has revealed that she wants to be a rock star and is desperate to show off her wild singing side to the world.
The 24-year old beauty feels that she is ‘a punk rock star’.
"I was in a band called Tourniquet. And a band before that, Violent Pink, when I was 12. We were angsty girl punks, I think that`s my thing. I am a punk rock star underneath that`s dying to come out," said Arterton.
The beauty further added that she has a natural gift of playing guitar and is ‘weirdly proud’ of it.
"People are fascinated by it, which I understand. I`m proud of them, because it`s my little oddity. It`s my personal thing and it`s also a sign of wisdom," said Arterton.
The actress will soon be seen in Stephen Frears’s Tamara Drewe which is due to be released in United Kingdom on 10 September 2010. The film was premiered at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival in May and was released nationwide in France on 14 July 2010.
