The release of Eric Bana's new movie ‘The Time Traveler's Wife’ had to be delayed for a year as the filmmaker had to wait for the Aussie actor's hair to grow back.
Bana had shaved his head for his role as Nero in recent sci-fi flick Star Trek, after the shooting of the romantic movie.
Director Robert Schwentke wanted Bana to reshoot some of the scenes with co-star Rachel McAdams for The Time Traveler's wife.
The film’s release date had to be rescheduled to 14th August 2009, a year after its original release date.
McAdams explains, "We wound up doing a reshoot, but Eric had to shave his head for Star Trek. Basically we were waiting for Eric's hair."
