British singer Amy Winehouse desperately wants to have a reunion with her ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil. The couple had opted for a divorce last month.
They had been married in 2007 in Miami, Florida, following a brief romance. But the couple had separated during early 2009. Fielder-Civil had cited that she had betrayed him because of which the couple had split. Winehouse had also admitted infidelity in court papers.
Despite the selling of the intimate details of their marriage by Fielder-Civil Amy is ready to forgive him and she is pleading him to reunite with her.
Fielder-Civil also ready to start off fresh with Winehouse, who had spent eight months in the Caribbean to discard her drink and drug habits. The duo has even arranged a secret dinner date.
"We've been talking for the first time in months. I love her as much as ever. I know she still loves me, even though we're getting divorced. May be this time we can do everything properly and not mess it up," he said.
"She is looking beautiful and healthy now and it reminds me of the old Amy. She has been wearing my engagement ring and it meant an awful lot," he added.
Fielder-Civil is trying to get rid of his drug abuse by spending time in a rehabilitation centre.
