Deepika Padukone has a reason to come on the small screen and perform something impressive. She is Pinky Palkar of ‘Lafangey Parindey’, who will be seen dancing as a blind girl on roller skates.

 

‘Lafangey Parindey’ has joined hands with ‘India’s Got Talent’ on Colors and will showcase the essence of the story of the movie on it through Deepika’s performance.

 

In the movie, she plays the role of Pinky Palkar opposite to Neil Nitin Mukesh called Nandu in the movie. He is a boxer and leads a gang of bikers in Mumbai.

 

Pinky is a very ambitious girl and in spite of being visually impaired, she aspires to become an excellent dancer. She wants to carve a niche for herself and wishes to rise above the rest by training herself to the unique talent of dancing on roller skates.

 

Deepika went to the sets of ‘India’s Got Talent’ and also added, “Salute the spirit of India’s Got Talent and the dream of each and every participant who wants to carve a niche by showcasing his or her talent to the world. This August is going to be a month of celebrating talent; while viewers will enjoy some exciting acts on the show, I am confident that they will also cheer for Pinky Palkar when Lafangey Parindey hits the big screen.”

 

 

Deepika will be seen performing on the show, but the dates have not yet been revealed.
