Sudha Chandran, eminent dancer and actress will be seen for the first time ever with another talented actress Aruna Irani on Zee TV. The two will be seen acting in new television soap, ‘Sanjog Se Bani Sangini’.
The new television soap is based on a love story, set in the scenic beauty of Hardwar, Uttaranchal. Binny Sharma, the fourth runner up of the extremely popular dance show, ‘Dance India Dance’ will be seen in the lead role. The serial will also be shot in the famous Pataudi Palace of New Delhi.
The popular face of the Indian television, Iqbal Khan will also make a comeback to the small screen though this soap and will play opposite to Binny Sharma. He was last seen in Zee TV’s soap, ‘Waaris’.
While, Sudha Chandran explains about her character in the serial and adds, “I am playing the grandmother of Gauri (Binny Sharma). My character has been an orchestra singer from past when people did not accept woman in such profession. She is a very lively woman and has a dominating personality. She is much ahead of her time and does not wait for the approval of society to do what she wants”.
Aruna Irani, who also plays quite a good role in the serial reveals, “I am playing the mother of Rudra (Iqbal Khan). My character is a very shrewd one, who can get her things done at any cost. I always loved playing strong roles. I believe the audience will remember me for this role for a long time”.
The serial will be aired from August 16 and because of its star cast, the serial is sure to attract a good attention from the viewers.
