Hollywood starlet Cameron Diaz has revealed that she is willing to star in Charlie’s Angel’s third installment. The actress hinted that she will happily reprise her role in the new installment.
The actress is so desperate to work on the venture that she is constantly in touch with the movie bosses to return with the new sequel.
"I would love to! Of course I would. Why wouldn’t I? It’d be fun!" Diaz was quoted as saying.
However, the actress is worried that the bosses could think of changing the cast and bring in new girls for the role. "I don’t know if we``ll do it. I mean, we played the movie as the new crop of Charlie’s Angels and we never were trying to be (or) pretend we were the other girls (from the TV show). So it might just be time for a new crop of girls to come on."
The movie Charlie's Angels (2000), is based on the television series of the same name from the late 1970s. Diaz shared the screen space with Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Liu to star in the flick which revolves around three women working for a private investigation agency.
The three women returned for the sequel of the movie named Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle in 2003.
