Brooke Shields Mentions Fame is Like Addiction Brooke Shields |
The former wife of renowned tennis player Andre Agassi, Brooke Shields made her public stunt at her budding age. The 44-year-old beauty Brooke recollects that much of her time was spent in building her career, which she started as a child artist then followed into modeling and later into films.
The experience of success in publicity was very thrilling but slowly it wrapped her into its addiction and from which it became very difficult for her to come out. This strive for more fame formed a drastic impact upon her life and she would never want her two daughters, Rowan, six, and three-year-old Grier to get into the same phase.
You're always losing out according to her view on fame, Brooke added, "It's a high like you can't imagine. It's like a drug. But no, I don't want them involved. Every day you're told what you are not: You're not short enough, you're not thin enough, you're not pretty enough. You're always losing out."
Despite her success Brooke after marriage to television writer Chris Henchy proved to be a devoted working mother, wife and daughter, ready to take any challenges.
Quite candidly she stated that she is a ‘classy mom’ and added, "I'm greedy. We were walking to school yesterday and my daughter said, 'Mom, I want you to be a class mom.' I laughed in her sweet little face and said, 'You want me to be a class mom?' I said, 'I'm a classy mom. Isn't that enough?' "
