The noted Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan has stirred the media’s attention with her lawsuit of $100 million against online brokerage E-Trade for utilizing her name upon the baby who appeared in their ‘milkaholic’ ad which is a violation against her rights .
This ‘milkaholic’ ad became quite famous which televised to wider regions. According to her this act of E-Trade is a violation against her rights and wants justice for using her fame indirectly.
The ad featured a baby boy in an apologetic act with his female lead for making her stand in his run for keeping too busy in shares trading was telecasted during the Super Bowl in February.
This unusual concept became a hit which is reportedly the latest in a series of ads featuring the babies in order to reflect the ease of the online trading system. Dialogues that carried in the ad, stated, "And that milkaholic Lindsay wasn't over?" the baby girl asks before another baby girl appears into the screen stating, "Milk-a-whaaat?"
In the process of this lawsuit that was filed on Monday, Lohan's lawyer Stephanie Ovadia mentioned the ad was a clear indication to her client which is clearly a mark of abuse and remarked, "Many celebrities are known by one name only, and E-Trade is using that knowledge to profit. They're using her name as a parody of her life. Why didn't they use the name Susan? This is a subliminal message. Everybody's talking about it and saying it's Lindsay Lohan."
In retaliation to this charge from Lohan, the ad agency stated, "Just used a popular baby name that happened to be the name of someone on the account team.”
