Bouncers, Press Clash Spoils Katie Price and Alex Reid Wedding Blessing Ceremony Katie Price |
A crowd of about 40 well-wishers who had gathered outside the church in a hope to get a glimpse of the bride left disappointed after paparazzi clashed with the bouncers at the wedding blessing ceremony of Katie Price and Alex Reid.
The most awaited event turned out sour after a scuffle broke out between photographers and security guards. The situation got so worsened that the police was called.
The Hollywood’s hot couple tied the knot in Las Vegas in February 2010 and planned to host the ceremony to ensure their friends and family had the chance to congratulate them on their marriage.
Upon the arrival of the couple at St Paul's Church in Woldingham, Surrey the pair was protected by umbrellas and sheets.
A spokesman for Price said the scuffle involved "people trying to enter Katie Price's car at Saturday ceremony".
"She was understandably shaken and upset by the actions of these people," he added.
Surrey Police spokesperson confirmed, "We have been advised of an alleged assault outside the church which we are currently looking into."
