Boney Kapoor’s next movie, ‘A Time To Forgive’ is a conceptualization from the recent ceasefire between the two Ambani brothers. The movie stars the estranged ex-pair, Shahid and Kareena.
Call it piggybacking or call it the imaginative power of a creative being. Boney Kapoor does something similar and is all set to make a movie called, ‘A Time To Forgive’, but please don’t relate to the story of Shahid and Kareena to it as they are just the stars in it.
Boney adds, “Yes, the news that Anil and Mukesh Ambani have forgiven and forgotten the past and are making an attempt to come closer again just prompted me to design this concept.”
Apart from this very well thought concept, he has also launched a campaign with the same name as of the movie, ‘A Time To forgive’. Through the campaign, he requests common people to come forward and take part in the contest. The contest involves people to come closer and then forgive and forget whatever happened in the past.
The weird part of the whole plan is that the lead pair is not even informed about the entire contest.
A source reveals, “We don’t think Shahid or Kareena will like the idea of this forgive and forget campaign as it is totally against the stance they have towards each other. Despite being cordial with each other, they are not on great talking terms. Both might not want to see a contest that gives people scope to discuss their past relationship as it’s a done-with chapter.”
Boney kapoor also has a say on this and he adds, “Why should I think about the relationship they share? It’s my film and coming up with ideas to promote it is my idea. To me, they are professionals in my film no matter what relationship I share with them outside work."
"So, it is purely a business decision and we won’t cause an embarrassment to Kareena and Shahid with this. But I do admit that we haven’t told them anything yet about this campaign as both are out of Mumbai. I’m sure they will be a sport.”
So, Shahid and Kareena can at least be on better talking terms than before after they enact Boney Kapoor’s ‘A Time To Forgive’.
