Gulshan Grover is known as the bad man of Bollywood and has been playing a perfect villain role since years. This time, he undergoes a change in his image in the movie, ‘Red Alert-The War Within’.

 

 

Gulshan Grover has successfully carved a niche for himself as the ‘Bollywood specialized villain’. He has been showing his acting skills through a very rough, cruel and blatant character. His best remembered movies are ‘Sohni Mahiwal’, ‘Ram Lakhan’, ‘Shola Aur Shabnam’, ‘Gangster’ and ‘Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi’.

 

He adds, “Villains like that have disappeared from the film. Nowadays there are no villains you know. I know and believe that I am a versatile, capable actor; it was initially just to get stardom. I still play villain, I still take pride that I am the only specialized villain left in the business, but I am also an actor who can play any part and I am doing that.”

 

 

 

Grover undergoes an image shift and he plays the role of a Police officer in Anant Mahadevan’s ‘Red Alert – The War Within’.

 

He adds, “I am playing the head of police, someone who represents the system …the government's point of view...In a way everyone is on one side and me and my police force are on the other side.”

 

‘Red Alert’ releases in the cinemas today and it is expected to move the audience by its real storyline up and hidden truths.

 

It is heard that Grover is also getting offers from Hollywood, but he wants to concentrate only on Bollywood presently.
