Bipasha Basu ,who was there in Surat for launch of a five-star hotel- The Grand Bhagwati ,had a troublesome time as the crowd got uncontrollable inspite of repeated requests by Bong beauty. The large crowd was anxious to get a glance of the beauty.
The crowd surrounded Bipasha in an effort to greet their star and soon turned unmanageable. In the chaos, Bipasha incurred a minor injury in her face near her left eye. At last, India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni came to rescue the actress from the unruly crowd. Cricket legend Kapil Dev was also present in the inauguration event.
Reports say that organisers failed to manage the crowd. The incident left Bipasha in a state of shock and she reportedly kept herself in her room in eighth floor of the hotel with strict instructions on security.
Bipasha was also not seen in the evening wherein Kapil Dev and Mahendra Singh Dhoni addressed the media.
