Apple is all set to release the iPhone 4 in many countries like Singapore, Hong Kong, Canada, Australia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, Sweden, Norway Ireland, Italy and Belgium on Friday.
Apple launched the latest smartphone on June 24 in the U.S. and said it would be available in other key markets later on.
iPhone 4 is currently available in France, Germany, Japan, the UK and the US for a retail price of $199 (US) for the 16GB model and $299 (US) for the 32GB model.
Apple iPhone 4 has certain improvements over its predecessor, the iPhone 3GS, which comes with a better camera, sharper display and a more powerful battery.
Singapore Telecommunications Ltd. will launch the iPhone 4 in Singapore on July 30 along with the rivals like Starhub Ltd. and M1 Ltd. The CSL Ltd., SmarTone Telecommunications Holdings Ltd. and Hutchison Telecommunications will release the device in Hong Kong on Friday.
Apple has received good response from the sale of its iPhones as it has already sold about 1.7 million units during the opening launch weekend in June. However, the device was struggling to cope up with the antennagate problem later on.
