Renowned Bollywood director, Anurag Kashyap will capture the novel by Mario Puzo ‘The God Father’ in his next movie. He is ready to adapt the 1972 movie on God Father by Francis Ford Coppola.
The classic novel and movie The God Father is going to be remade in Bollywood. It is a great effort by director Anurag Kashyap and he terms it as his extremely ambitious project.
The actor has also reunited with Manoj Bajpayee after a long time.
Manoj will play the role of a coal mine owner and he is supposed to play a rebellious and challenging role in the movie.
Manoj is very delighted to be offered the role and says “I am very happy that Kashyap is writing my character in the film and also directing it. He is the same person, who wrote Bhikhu Mhatre's role for me in Satya. We are working together after so many years, which is exciting in itself.”
The movie will roll from the month of July, 2010. The film may also star the veteran actress Shabana Azmi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Piyush Mishra and a new face.
