Angelina Jolie is really a blonde, and has been dying her hair dark since she was four years old.
The actress claims her late mother Marcheline Bertrand started the trend because she didn't like the colour of Jolie's locks.
And the 34 year old has been reaching for the dye ever since.
Jolie tells a German magazine, "My natural colour is dark blonde. But when I was four or five, my mother dyed my hair dark brown, and she decided to keep it that way. And I stuck with that."
