Andrew Tweedy, brother of Singer Cheryl Cole has revealed that his sister was planning to start a family with husband Ashley Cole. Tweedy maintained that the singer was trying to plan out everything and was even thinking of taking a break from her singing career to have kids.
Andrew Tweedy said, "I am absolutely devastated for Cheryl. It was such a shock because everything appeared to be hunky dory."
"We come from a big family and Cheryl has got the maternal instinct. It was common knowledge that they were thinking about it (children) and trying to organise how to sort things out with their careers to get around it. What's happened has hit her really hard," he added.
The 29-yaer old also added that Ashley Cole tried all means to get Cheryl back but she was not interested to give the soccer star another chance.
"He's obviously trying to worm his way back in but she's not having any of it, he has done it too many times now. She has already given him chances," Tweedy said.
