The celebrity auction initiated by online marketplace eBay for the 'Joy of Giving Week' has created a new craze. The whopping Rs10,02,000 bidding for lunch date with Amitabh Bachchan proves the love Big B has worldwide. Well! Mr Bachchan surpasses today’s young generation as his auction worth was much beyond Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar.
Akshay’s breakfast date was auctioned for Rs5,92,000 while Salman Khan’s gym session fetched Rs3,52,000.
Amitabh’s lunch date attracted 16,770 unique visitors with 55 biddings while Salman had 42 bids from US, Europe and India.
Corporate house Whirlpool won Bachchan’s lunch date and Salman’s gym session while an American fan will spend his lucky morning with Akki.
The proceeds from the charity auction which is a whopping Rs27 lakhs will be given to the star's charity of choice.
