Academy award winning actress Meryl Streep is an inspiration for many young aspiring actresses and ‘Mean Girls’ star Amanda Seyfried is one of them.
Seyfried, 24 revealed that she wants to follow the footsteps of ‘Sophie's Choice’ beauty and desires to be a multitalented actress like her.
The actress quoted, "I would like to be one of those actresses who can do anything. I would like to be like Meryl Streep someday, but then I don't know many people in this business who don't have that goal.”
Talking about her forthcoming appearance in Catherine Hardwicke's big screen adaptation of ‘Red Riding Hood’, Amanda said that the new movie will be different from what many expect.
"Catherine has a very vivid, clear idea, a beautiful idea of what she wants us to be. Very gothic, very dark and unlike 'Twilight'," she said.
The actress is set to share the screen space with Gary Oldman, Julie Christie and Lukas Haas. The movie is slated to release in April 2011.
