Singer and actress Alicia Keys is now a proud mother. The beauty and her husband, music producer/rapper Swizz Beatz welcomed their baby boy, Egypt Daoud Dean on Oct. 14 in New York City.
The spokesperson of Keys announced the arrival of the new member to the pair’s family. It is the first child for the 29-year-old singer but the fourth child for Beatz.
The 31-year old rapper was finding it hard to hide his happiness and overjoyed Beatz celebrated the birth of his son and tweeted, "I`m so thankful for everything I been blessed with in my life."
Meanwhile, Singer Mary J. Blige also congratulated the pair and wrote on her twitter page, "I'm so excited 2 Congratulate my brother @therealswizzz and @Alicia keys on there New, baby, boy!!!!!!!"
Swizz Beatz announced in May 2009 that he had been cheating on his wife Mashonda with singer Alicia Keys. In May 2010, a representative for Beatz and Keys confirmed that the couple were engaged and expecting a child together. Keys and Swizz Beatz held a wedding celebration on the French island of Corsica on July 31, 2010.
