British singing icon Cheryl Cole has confessed that she still loves her cheater ex-husband Ashley Cole. The beauty was in tears while discussing about her failed marriage in a recent interview.
Cheryl accepted that she will always love Ashley but still wonders what went wrong in their perfect marriage. The 27-year old beauty also called her ex-hubby ‘a genuinely nice guy’.
"Once we get over this obstacle, I hope we can be friends again. A part of me will always love Ashley."
"Looking back on it, I feel numb. We had a great marriage and a fantastic wedding day but I don`t know where it went wrong. To this day I still question that."
The former pair announced their split in Feburary and was granted divorce in September, following Ashley`s infidelity during their marriage.
