Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai are coming together for the second time after ‘Khakhee’ in ‘Action Replayy’, a full-time comedy film based on the era of 70’s. Akshay talks about the former Miss World and says that she is not the diva-kind of actress, but an easy person to work with.

 

He adds further, “Ash is simply fabulous and one of the reasons that we shared incredible compatibility as actors and people is because she brings in the same focus, energy and discipline to her work as I do.”

 

He continues, “Aishwarya is not a diva. She does not throw tantrums. She does not come with any baggage whatsoever and is an extremely easy person to work with. It's refreshing to work with someone with whom I have not worked with for a while."

 

 

The actor also says that he had enjoyed working with Ash, at the time both of them did ‘Khakhee’ together, but co-incidentally they didn’t work jointly after that.

 

Akshay explains, “Our on-screen relationship in Khakee was quite unconventional and actually came with a chilling twist. Still, people had really liked us in Khakee and it is rather odd that Ash and I did not work together after that.”

 

He often gets annoyed over the fact that why people question him every time he works with Katrina and every time he doesn’t work with her.

 

Akshay adds, “When I do a movie with Katrina, people say 'What? You are working with her again?'. On the other hand when I don't do a movie with her for some time, people say, 'Oh, why didn't you take Kat, you're the best onscreen couple'."

 

Apart from ‘Action Replayy’, going to hit the screens on Diwali, November 5, he is also waiting for his next release with Katrina, ‘Tees Maar Khan’ directed by Farah Khan, the movie is expected to hit the theatres on Christmas this year.
