Ajay Devgan has been a hot shot this year, he has walked out of ‘Rajneeti’ fame director Prakash Jha’s next which made a way for Saif, who had been vying to work with the ace director.

 

‘Aakarshan’ is the name of the next movie by Jha and for the lead role, he wanted Ajay Devgan, but somehow the actor didn’t like the offer and the script and turned it down, which Saif accepted with much enthusiasm.

 

The director was in a confused state of mind after Ajay Devgan moved out and he was searching for a replacement, so Saif showed interest and he was roped in.

 

Saif’s next movie after ‘Agent Vinod’ was ‘Two States’ based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel, but somehow the parameters are not working for it, so Saif chose ‘Aakarshan’ instead as a better option.

 

The movie also stars megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Manoj Bajpayee, it will go on floors from Feb, 2011.
