Aamir’s Grand Musical Night Aamir, Kiran |
A musical night hosted by Aamir Khan and further mesmerized by Gustavo, was the talk of the Tinsel town on Saturday. The grand night was organized in honor of oscar award winner Gustavo Sanataolla.
The Pali Hill Bungalow of Aamir and wife Kiran was ‘the place’ of the B-Town last Saturday. The couple had invited almost everyone from the Bollywood industry to meet the Oscar award winner for music, Gustavo Sanataolla.
Gustavo has come down all the way from Argentina to compose music for Kiran Rao’s directorial debut, Dhobi Ghat. The musical night began with Gustavo’s Spanish guitar and then there was nothing else left to witness in the party, not even the hottest faces from the Tinsel Town.
Gustavo started with A Love That Will Never Grow Old from Brokeback Mountain, which had won him the Golden Globe for the best original song in 2006. The party animals like Salman Khan, Saif, Anil kapoor, Imran Khan were spellbound by his soulful compositions.
His hands played confidently, while he sang to the deepest of his souls. It was 2.30 am when, Shankar also joined Gustavo and sang ‘Chura Liya’ and quite a few other numbers. The scintillating atmosphere had reached the peak around 4 am, when Aamir gave a surprise and sang beautifully to the tunes of classic old melody ‘Orre Taal Taal Mile Nadi Ke Jal Se, Nadi Mile Saagar Se.
Aamir also translated the Hindi lines for a bemused Gustavo and continued the magic.
