Yoko Ono To Pen Autobiography Yoko Ono |
John Lennon’s widow Yoko Ono is set to end her silence on her time with The Beatles star - she's preparing to write her autobiography.
The couple wed in 1969 and lived together as man and wife before Lennon was murdered in New York City in 1980.
Lennon's first wife, Cynthia, penned two tomes on her life with the legendary musician, whereas Ono opted to keep her tales secret.
The 76 year old has now revealed she is preparing to tell all - but the book won't be ready to hit shelves until 2015.
She says, ?I would love to do it. I just have to find the time.?
Ono adds that an autobiography will be her ?next book, which will be ?written in the next five years."
The artist/musician has previously voiced concerns about writing a book, because it may upset the other Beatles' families.
In a 2007 interview, she said: "There are things that I can?t write because it may hurt someone. I think about how it might hurt (their) children, and I don?t want to do that.?
