Yercaud is a tranquil hill station snuggled in the Shevaroy Hills of Tamil Nadu. Located at an altitude of 1515 meters in the Eastern Ghats, Yercaud is definitely a gem in the crate of hills stations of India. Anna Park - it's a nicely laid-out park close to the lake and has a separate area for kids too. Botanical Garden is another famous place that draws tourists due to its meticulously laid-out lawns. People of religious bent can visit Shevaroy Temple which has the distinction of being sited at the highest point in Yercaud.

 

Yercaud is a better emerging hill resort in Tamil Nadu and probably that’s why, it doesn’t have many but quite a few hotels which offer accommodation facilities.
