Vivek Oberoi and his bride to-be, Priyanka Alva enjoyed their pre-marriage mehendi ceremony at a sprawling farm house in Bangalore. The affair was grand and the couple looked beautiful in shades of crimson designed by high profile fashion designer Tarun Tahilani.

 

28 years old Priyanka Alva looked enormously happy and she adorned a traditional crimson colored ghaghra-choli , the ceremony was attended by her friends and relatives. She is the daughter of late Karnataka based politician Jeev Raj Alva.

 

Even Vivek wore the same shade outfit and took an active part in the ceremony; his family was there to grace the occasion. The event started from the afternoon and the lunch was a spread of Italian food with light special snacks.

 

Long white drapes, lush greenery, flowers and scented oils set the ambience for the evening, shades of different colors of light made the evening more lively.

 

Elaborate menu and expert chefs made arrangements for the evening with a special combination of Punjabi and South Indian food.

 

Today, the traditional puja ceremony will be held at the Alva residence and for the wedding event, the couple and family will head towards Hotel Chancery Pavilion, Residency Road, Bangalore.

Though, Bollywood celebrity’s presence is not much expected today, but everyone invited would certainly take part in the reception ceremony in Mumbai on October 31.
